The newly refurbished Harlesden Library Plus offers an inspiring range of services and stock in a beautifully designed environment. Harlesden Library Plus is now arranged across five levels and offers residents:

  • an excellent selection of books and multimedia displayed on customer friendly, retail style furniture
  • state of the art self-service technology in a fully Wi-Fi enabled building alongside plasma TV screens and listening posts
  • a Black Identity Zone designed in consultation with a steering group of local residents
  • a spacious area for children and parents where a love of books and reading can be nurtured
  • a mezzanine level combining IT facilities and a Teen Zone
  • five BACES classrooms with interactive technology
  • customer contact facilities including, interview rooms
  • freephones to Brent Customer Services and touch screen computers providing access to council services
  • information, advice and guidance services from nextstep to help you find work or a course every Friday: http://nextstep.direct.gov.uk/
