Our local football club- Queens Park Rangers managed to avoid relegation.
Congratulations Super Hoops !!!
Not many people know that QPR were named after Queens Park area in Northwest London where most of the players came from , back in 1882 when St.Jude team merged with Christchurch Rangers to form a new club called Queens Park Rangers.
Since then, the club played at 20 different stadia , which is English league record, finally settling at Loftus Road in Shepherds Bush.
After trying on 12 different kits , QPR finally chose the familiar blue and white hoops.
Onward to the new season with Mark Hughes and no more escapes on the last day, during the last game in the last minute, please.
Less glamorous than its London rivals, but true to its core values,QPR continue their journey, cheered on by its celebrity fans such as Pete Doherty, Ian Gillan, Bill Bailey, Martin Clunes , Phill Collins, Shane Ritchie and Jamie Oliver.
We at The Stay Club are fans too, C’mon Rangers!!!
